Representing Wyoming:
Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra
Symphony at Sunset
THE STORY:
For over 65 years, the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra (CSO) has been serving the city of Cheyenne and Southwest Wyoming. Recently, CSO, led by Maestro William Intriligator, was thrilled to present an evening of free, musical, family fun with Symphony at Sunset at the Lions Park Amphitheater. This concert had something for everyone, featuring a mix of patriotic music, film scores, and light classics, and was a great way for the entire family to enjoy orchestral music. The free concert was made possible due to the generous sponsorship of Spradley Barr Toyota. In addition, the City of Cheyenne generously donated the use of the Amphitheater for this event and FE Warren Airforce Base provided the cannon for the 1812 Overture finale. This was an extremely well attended event and celebration after such a hard year, with nearly 1,000 people in attendance! Many in attendance had never experienced a live symphony orchestra performance.

COMMUNITY IMPACT:
We are excited to have been able to make this performance available to our community free of charge, the first in many years, thanks to Spradley Barr Toyota. It was both a welcome back and a thank you for the generosity our patrons and donors bestowed on Cheyenne Symphony this season. We also invited food trucks to be at the park, in an effort to help support our struggling local food industry. We are so grateful for the support of our patrons and donors this, and every, season and look forward to continuing to provide great music to our community for decades to come!
